Letter to Ms.Kiran Bedi

This is an extract of my letter sent to Ms.Kiran Bedi (really admire her and want to see many more people like her). I was very inspired on Safer India initiative and wanted to express my thoughts about the same :-
"I am a regular reader of Times of India and have been following it since a long time. Through this email, I primarily wanted to congratulate you for this initiative you have planned for people and emancipating their concerns/problems and secondly, wanted to thank you for playing a role what every Indian has long forgotten about.
I'm a software engineer working with an MNC and was greatly satisfied to see a portal in place to hear the grievances of deplorable lot in society. It was sad to have come across news of women being harassed in Mumbai, but the question of the hour now is how to make 2008 and coming years a safe place for all especially women!!!
India is a land of motherhood, a community where 'Maa' comes before 'Mom', a divine shrine where 'Sita' goddess (Maa Durga incarnation) controls 'Satan'. How can we let this glory go away?? What requires is the need to enlighten the masses about social stigmas and the need to control their unnecessary evil urge.
Having a portal to accommodate an individual's concern is a major step in diminishing evils from the society.
I am very young and would like to dedicate myself and volunteer for this initiative in all feasible manners possible. I wish you all the best for your efforts and hope to see the GOLDEN INDIA once again in blessed future."
